Review: Fifteen pieces in the form of wedged diamond-shaped frames can be combined in an amazing variety of ways. When nested, they form a closed octahedron (two pyramids joined at their bases). When stacked, they fit either vertically or horizontally to form an open framework that extends upward and outward. Two-year-olds will just barely see the possibilities, but there is much aesthetic and geometric learning to be discovered throughout the preschool years and beyond. This may be the only child's toy that could double as rearrangeable coffee-table sculpture in the living room.
